INCIDENTALS are a series of twenty small paintings (8" x 10") completed over a period of two years.
They were worked on in Santa Monica, CA and Coffeetown, PA - 2016-18.
INCIDENTALS are a painted journal of explorations. Very often when I’m working on a series of paintings I discover different techniques that may not be appropriate for the series that’s being created. I catalogue these discoveries until its possible to express them under a general theme or proposition. Discovery leads to discoveries that inspire.
